My favorite research project was working on my science fair project in high school. It took me about three months to complete the research for this project. The first thing I had to do was come up with a topic to research. I went to Google to find science fair topics. The topic that I decided to use was does evaporation occur faster in sunlight or artificial light. Once I came up with my topic, I bought the materials and began research on my project. This project took me about two and a half months to complete because I had to take data everybody and had to run the experiment twice until all the water was evaporated.
Once I completed my project I turned it in at school and my teacher felt that it was good enough to go to the county fair. I entered my project into the county fair and came in first place for my division. After I won the county fair I went to the state fair in Athens. I didn’t win the state fair, but I enjoyed having the experience.

  1. The science projects in high school were always interesting. I can remember I did most of research from Google and I also used my science book that was given to me in class. Also, class notes were a very reliable source because most of them came from the teacher or from a science book that was up to date.

  2. Although I am not a huge science fan, this seems like a really interesting project. I like doing things hands on, but I probably would have grown a little impatient if the project took two and a half months. When I did the science fair, I also used Google to find a good topic.

  3. When you researched on google for potential topic on google how long did it take you to find a credible website that had valid research or science fair topics? Also what made you really enjoy the experience of this project? I remember the days of having to conduct research on a science fair project and doing the same steps you took on this.
